When He Just Handles It

You know what gets me more than the big gestures? The quiet ones. π
There's something about catching him at the sink β no prompting, no "hey can you pleaseβ", no sticky note reminder β just him, handling it. On his own. Without a word.
I didn't ask. I didn't remind him. He just saw it and did it. And honestly? That hit differently than any bouquet of flowers ever could. β¨
It's such a small thing on paper, but when you're a mom who's used to being the one who notices everything and remembers everything and follows up on everything β someone just handling it without being asked feels like a big deal. It really does. π
So here's to the quiet moments. The ones that don't make it to highlight reels but mean everything anyway. π₯°
